My love of patchworking started in 2009 when I was given a quilt for my 1st child. I loved it so much I went to the local patchworking store the next day, purchased a sewing maching and some fabric and started my first quilt.
It wasn’t till several years later when my children were 9 & 7 that I found the time to sew. Everytime I had a quilt top finished I would track up to Crescent Head to my Aunties house to use her quilting frame,
Once I stopped working and had the time to patchwork weekly I realised driving to Crescent Head to quilt was no longer practical. So Ipurchased a Grace frame and had my domestic machine on it.
It wasn’t long till I out grew that frame and ordered my first Gammill. My husband and I built a studio, I attended the quilting with confidence tour by Gammill and then attended classes at Quiltopia in Sydney with both Georgie Stull & Karen Farnsworth, all while waiting for my Gammill to arrive.
I love creating my quilts from start to finish and love being able to be a part of others peoples beautiful work.
From this passion “Sew Thoughtful” was born. If you are after a unique hand made gift or long arm quilting service to finish your own patchwork, I am here and cant wait to help.
